A March 2 burglary on Hallmark Road in the Whitesboro community led to the arrests of 48-year-old Terry Lynn Posey, of Albertville, and 34-year-old Keith Shone Walker, of Boaz.
Boaz police Chief Terry Davis said the residence had been broken into several times. The homeowner, growing weary of the break-ins, placed a camera in a strategic position in hopes of capturing the next thief or thieves in action.
The effort proved fruitful as the camera recorded Posey and Walker in action.
The Etowah sheriff’s office was able to identify the two and contacted Boaz police in an effort to confirm Walker’s identity and locate his whereabouts.
Davis told the sheriff’s detectives, “That’s him (Walker), and we know exactly where he is. He’s in our jail.”
